The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Tuesday was a positive 106-88-116 as the TSX Venture Exchange rose another nine points to 606. Roger Lemaitre's UEX Corp. (UEX) rose two cents to 37.5 cents on 3.02 million shares. The company is cheering plans for a feasibility field test of the Phoenix deposit on the Wheeler River joint venture in Northern Saskatchewan. UEX owns an effective 5-per-cent interest in the project.

(ADD) and Yari Nieken's Margaret Lake Diamonds Inc. (DIA). Arctic Star, up one-half cent to nine cents on 606,000 shares, has sold 14.29 million shares at seven cents, raising another $1-million for the Diagras project, just northeast of Lac de Gras in the Northwest Territories, and for other expenses.
