Renewal Through March 2027 Positions ACL for Continued Revenue Stream in Orphan Well Remediation Services
FORT ST. JOHN, British Columbia – TheNewswire - June 9, 2026 – A.C.L. Construction Ltd. (TSXV: ACL; OTCQB: AACLF; FSE: A3LO) (the "Company" or "A.C.L."), a leading provider of civil construction services, project management, general construction and underground utilities in the Peace Region of British Columbia, is pleased to announce the renewal of its Qualified Vendor Standing Offer (QVSO) with the BC Energy Regulator (BCER) for reclamation and remediation services under the Orphan Well Program, effective through March 31, 2027.
While the Standing Offer does not carry a contractual minimum commitment, the Company has realized historic annual revenues ranging up to $2 million in previous years through project awards under this program . This renewal marks the fourth consecutive year of A.C.L. working with the BCER on critical orphan well remediation and reclamation initiatives across British Columbia's oil and gas industry.
"We are very pleased to have the Qualified Vendor Standing Offer with BCER renewed for another year," commented John McPherson, CEO of A.C.L. He adds, “our four-year track record with BCER demonstrates our commitment to excellence in environmental restoration and validates our technical capabilities in this essential sector. This renewal continues to support our long-term revenue visibility in the orphan well remediation market, which is a core competency for our company."
A QVSO is a pre-approved vendor status that allows BCER to efficiently solicit work from qualified contractors like us without requiring a lengthy procurement process for each individual project. This streamlined approach helps accelerate critical reclamation and remediation work while ensuring contractors meet rigorous technical and safety standards. The renewal underscores A.C.L.'s established expertise in complex remediation and reclamation projects, as well as the Company's reputation for safe, efficient execution in challenging environmental conditions across Western Canada.
The BCER's Orphan Well Program is a critical initiative designed to address the environmental and safety risks posed by abandoned and orphaned oil and gas sites in British Columbia, supporting the province's commitment to environmental stewardship and resource sector sustainability.
