RALEIGH, N.C. -- (Business Wire)
Vontier Corporation (NYSE: VNT), a leading global provider of critical technologies and solutions to connect, manage and scale the mobility ecosystem, announced the continuation of its collaboration with the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) Foundation through the Foundation's Neighborhood Nourish program, a nationwide initiative focused on combating hunger, reducing food waste and strengthening local communities.
For the second consecutive year, Vontier will contribute $50,000 to support the NACS Foundation’s Neighborhood Nourish program. During the 2026 NACS Show in Las Vegas, unused food from exhibitors and event activities will be recovered, sorted and distributed in partnership with FoodRecovery.org and Three Square Food Bank’s local network to provide meals for individuals and families in need across the Las Vegas community.
The partnership builds on the earlier success from the 2025 program, when the team of volunteers, including Vontier employees and NACS Foundation representatives, recovered over 120,000 pounds of food from the expo floor.
"At Vontier, responsibility means using our resources to create meaningful impact beyond our business," said Elaine Kanak, Chief Marketing Officer at Vontier. "Our continued support of the NACS Foundation and its Neighborhood Nourish program is one example of that commitment in action. By distributing thousands of pounds of surplus food from the NACS Show to families in need, we are helping to combat food insecurity while also reducing waste."
Earlier this year, Vontier expanded its commitment to Neighborhood Nourish through a separate $25,000 sponsorship and meal packaging event conducted in partnership with nonprofit Convoy of Hope, helping to distribute more than 10,000 pounds of food to children and families in need across the Raleigh community. Combined with the company’s $50,000 contribution supporting food recovery efforts at the 2026 NACS Show, Vontier’s total annual investment in Neighborhood Nourish will reach $75,000.
The Neighborhood Nourish program has become a signature example of how the convenience retail industry can come together to address food insecurity while promoting sustainability through food recovery efforts. By mobilizing volunteers and coordinating donations across the industry, the program creates a direct and measurable impact for communities where need is greatest.
"Convenience stores make a difference in the communities they serve and that’s also true for attendees at the NACS Show, the industry’s largest annual event," said Kevin O'Connell, Executive Director of the NACS Foundation. "We are proud to work with retail and supplier members and technology partners like Vontier to give back to the community."
"Food recovery is one of the most practical ways businesses and conventions can contribute to a hunger-free community,” said Beth Martino, President and CEO of Three Square Food Bank. “Last year alone, Three Square rescued nearly 80,000 pounds of food through the NACS Show. Neighborhood Nourish builds on that impact, turning surplus food into nourishment for our neighbors throughout Southern Nevada. This collaboration demonstrates what's possible when we work together to ensure good food reaches those in need."
“Food insecurity is a local problem, and convenience stores are as local as it gets,” said Sammie Paul, Executive Director of FoodRecovery.org. “We're proud to help turn surplus from the NACS Show into support for the community hosting this year's event. With SNAP changes putting more pressure on families and food banks, partnerships like this have never mattered more.”
