AURORA SOLAR TECHNOLOGIES INC. ANNOUNCES APPLICATION FOR MANAGEMENT CEASE TRADE ORDER

VANCOUVER July 30, 2026 - Aurora Solar Technologies Inc. (TSX.V: ACU) ("Aurora" or the "Company") announces that it was unable to file its annual financial statements, management's discussion and analysis and the required certifications for the year ended March 31 2026 (the "Annual Filings") on or before the prescribed filing deadline of July 29, 2026 (the "Annual Filing Deadline") as required by National Instrument 51-102 - Continuous Disclosure Obligations, and National Instrument 52-109 - Certification of Disclosure in Issuer's Annual and Interim Filings, respectively.

The Annual Filings have been delayed due to the complexity of the multijurisdictional consolidated audit and the additional time required to complete the remaining compilation and audit procedures. The remaining work includes the completion of subsidiary financial documents, receipt and review of third-party confirmations, audit fieldwork, technical accounting review and the auditors' final engagement quality review before the audit opinion can be issued.

The Company and its external auditors expect to complete the audit and the related Annual Filings by September 28th, 2026.

As a result, the Company filed an application to the British Columbia Securities Commission to approve a temporary management cease trade order ("MCTO") under National Policy 12-203 - Management Cease Trade Orders ("NP 12-203"). The MCTO restricts trading in securities of the Company by management of the Company until such time as the Annual Filings have been filed with the Company and the MCTO is no longer in effect. The MCTO does not affect the ability of shareholders to trade their securities, and the general investing public will continue to be able to trade in the Company's common shares. However, the CEO and CFO will not be able to trade the common shares until such time that the Annual Filings have been filed, and all continuous disclosure requirements have been satisfied by the Company and the MCTO has been revoked by the BCSC.

The Company expects to file the Annual Filings by September 28, 2026. The MCTO will be in effect until the Annual Filings are filed. The Company confirms that it intends to satisfy the provisions of section 4.4 of NP 12-203 and issue bi-weekly default status reports for so long as the Company remains in default of the financial statement filing requirement. Such reports will disclose any material changes to the information in this release; all actions taken by the Company to remedy the default; particulars of any failure by the Company to fulfill these provisions; any subsequent defaults of the Company requiring a default announcement; and any other material information concerns the affairs of the Company not previously disclosed.

The Company is not subject to any insolvency proceedings nor is there other material information concerning the affairs of the Issuer that has not been generally disclosed.
