Mr. Jake Bouma reports
AURORA SOLAR TECHNOLOGIES INC. PROVIDES CORPORATE UPDATE ON ANNUAL FILINGS AND TRADING RESINSTATEMENT
As a result of a delay in completing and filing its audited annual financial statements for the year ended March 31, 2026, together with the related management's discussion and analysis (MD&A), and the applicable chief executive officer and chief financial officer certifications, the British Columbia Securities Commission issued a failure-to-file cease trade order (CTO) against Aurora Solar Technologies Inc. on Sept. 30, 2026.
The delay in completing the annual filings is primarily attributable to the timing of the audit engagement and the additional time required to complete the remaining audit procedures. The company and its auditor continue to make progress on the audit of the company's annual filings. The company is working toward completing the annual filings by Oct. 29, 2026, or as soon as practicable thereafter, and is dedicating the necessary resources to complete and publish the annual filings as soon as practicable.
Trading in the company's securities on the TSX Venture Exchange and in the jurisdictions in which the CTO is effective is prohibited, and will remain prohibited until the annual filings have been completed and the CTO has been revoked.
The company will provide further updates regarding the status of the annual filings and CTO in accordance with applicable law.
