Adamera extends anomaly at South Hedley

2026-10-06 17:57 ET - News Release

Mr. Mark Kolebaba reports

ADAMERA EXPANDS MAX IP ANOMALY TO 3 KM ALONG STRIKE, SOUTH HEDLEY PROJECT, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Adamera Minerals Corp. has released results from a continuing induced polarization (IP) survey on its South Hedley project near Hedley, B.C. Lines L3400 and L3800 at the Max copper-gold target both returned strong chargeability, with apparent values of up to 59 mV/V (millivolts per volt) on L3800. Preliminary readings from line L4200, currently being surveyed, show the anomaly continuing east. The Max chargeability anomaly now measures approximately three to four kilometres (km) wide along survey lines depending on interpretation and approximately three km along strike. It is closed in the south and west, partially closed in the north and open to the east.

"New porphyry copper-gold targets are rare in Southern British Columbia; most of the region's porphyry deposits were found decades ago," said Mark Kolebaba, president and chief executive officer of Adamera. "Max has developed into a priority target. It combines a large, strong IP anomaly with copper and gold in the overlying soils, a magnetic anomaly and copper-bearing intrusive rocks, all within the Quesnel trough and 18 km from the Copper Mountain mine. The anomaly continues to grow to the east. Lines 3400 and 3800 returned some of the strongest chargeability of the survey, and preliminary readings near the start of Line 4200 are also anomalous. We will continue stepping east to close off the anomaly."

IP results: Lines L3400 and L3800

The survey uses a pole-dipole array on five-kilometre-long north-south lines spaced 400 metres apart. Readings are collected at 100 m stations along lines. Seven lines have now been completed, from L1400 in the west to L3800 in the east.

L3800: Apparent chargeability of up to 59 mV/V near surface, with values of 50 to 53 mV/V at the deepest levels of the survey, where it remains open. At depth, the anomaly extends over approximately 3.1 km of the line.

L3400: Apparent chargeability of up to 48 mV/V. At depth, the anomaly extends over approximately 2.8 km of the line.

Resistivity: The chargeability is hosted in rocks of moderate resistivity. This indicates that the response is likely caused by disseminated sulphides in competent host rocks.

Line L4200 and next steps

The IP crew is surveying line L4200, 400 metres east of L3800 and the survey will continue east in an attempt to close off the anomaly before the end of October. The chargeability along the north is only partially closed. To better define the northern extent of the IP target, L4200 will be extended an additional 500 m to the north for a total survey line of 5.5 km.

Results from approximately 2,000 soil samples collected at Max in 2026 are pending. The sampling was designed to provide continuous coverage over the IP anomaly and to close off the copper-gold soil anomalies, which remain open to the north and west. Drill permit applications for the Max and Glix targets were submitted in February, 2026.

South Hedley project

South Hedley is a copper-gold property located between Princeton and Hedley, B.C. The northern property boundary is located 1.5 kilometres south of Highway 3 (the Crowsnest Highway). It lies within the Quesnel trough, a belt of Late Triassic to Early Jurassic volcanic arc rocks and hosts many of the province's major porphyry copper and copper-gold mines, including Highland Valley Copper, Copper Mountain, New Afton, Mount Polley and Mount Milligan. The property covers over 24,000 hectares, including the Bromley claim applications announced on Sept. 8, 2026, which extend the property westward to the boundary of Hudbay Minerals Inc.'s Copper Mountain mine claims. The company is advancing two targets on the South Hedley property: the Max copper-gold and the Glix gold skarn targets. Previous soil sampling at Max returned up to 1,450 parts per million copper and 1.34 g/t gold, and magnetic modelling indicates a buried intrusive body at approximately 110 metres depth. At Glix, soil samples with up to 4.28 g/t gold have been identified in association with a magnetic low and EM anomaly.

The Copper Mountain mine, 18 km west of Max, is owned and operated by Hudbay Minerals Inc. Hudbay reports proven and probable mineral reserves of 345 million tonnes grading 0.256 per cent copper, containing approximately 883,000 tonnes of copper and 1.3 million ounces of gold. Hudbay expects copper production to average 48,000 tonnes per year over the next three years, with a mine life to 2045 (Hudbay news release, March 27, 2026).

Martin St. Pierre, PGeo, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and a consultant to the company, has reviewed and approved the technical content of this news release, with the exception of information on the Copper Mountain mine, which is taken from Hudbay's public disclosure. Chargeability values reported are apparent (field) values and have not been inverted, and are not directly comparable with the inverted values reported on Sept. 2, 2026. Copper in intrusive rocks refers to rock sample MR26-12, reported on Sept. 2, 2026, which returned 200 to 2,000 parts per million copper determined by Adamera using a portable XRF. IP chargeability indicates the presence of polarizable minerals, which may include sulphides that do not contain copper or gold, and is not indicative of grade, continuity or economic potential. Mineralization at the Copper Mountain mine is not necessarily indicative of mineralization on the South Hedley property.
