The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Sept. 3, edition that Stifel analyst Justin Keywood has reaffirmed his "buy" rating and $2.25 share target for Healwell AI. The Globe's David Leeder writes that analysts on average target the shares at $1.88. Mr. Keywood acknowledges that Healwell AI's multi-million dollar contract with Converge Health Iowa is "small," but he believes it could lead to further upselling opportunities for its Orion Health subsidiary. Mr. Keywood says in a note: "Management telegraphed its aspirations in Q2 to begin converting the professional services business into recurring enterprise subscription sales by deploying its SMARTSuite data science and AI capabilities into Orion's existing healthcare software customer base. While relatively small in isolation, we view this contract win as the right validation of this strategy, and if successful, could create a meaningful pipeline of Orion's broad HIE [Health Information Exchange] customer base to further convert into the higher-margin subscription-based, recurring AI revenue streams. Assuming an ACV of $2-million to $3-million across Orion's remaining HIE customer base represents a potential $200-million incremental revenue opportunity."
