Globe says RBC still rates Altus Group "sector perform"

2026-02-20 09:40 ET - In the News

The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Feb. 20, edition that following a "noisy fourth quarter as the software transition takes hold," RBC Capital analyst Paul Treiber continues to rank Altus Group "sector perform." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Treiber gave his share target a $6 trim to $50. Analysts on average target the shares at $60. Mr. Treiber says in a note: "Q4 revenue and adj. EBITDA slightly exceeded consensus, after adjusting for the Appraisals divestiture. Software ARR growth was solid (11 per cent year-over-year). However, FY26 guidance, which assumes no rebound in market conditions, fell short of consensus. In light of the shares trading at multiyear lows, Altus has increased its capital return program from $500-million to $800-million, which is likely to help support the stock." The Globe reported on Nov. 8, 2024, Feb. 21, 2025, and April 23, 2025, that Mr. Treiber continued to rate Altus Group "sector perform." It was then worth $56.61, $55 and $49.29. The Globe reported on Nov. 7, 2025, that National Bank Financial analyst Richard Tse had downgraded Altus Group to "sector perform" from "outperform." The shares were then going for $53.63.
