ALASKA HYDRO ANNOUNCES CALL FOR POWER & INTEREST FOR CAPACITY

Alaska Hydro Corp. has substantial interest in BC Hydro's most recent announcements on a new call for power and expression of interest on the supply of capacity. The company's 75-megawatt hydroelectric storage dam and generator planned for northwestern British Columbia is ideally suited for energy generation and energy storage. The More Creek hydro project was originally held by BC Hydro as part of its Zed hydro project and is located on a tributary to the Iskut River. The company looks forward to responding to both the call for power and the expression of interest for capacity.
