ALTAI ANNOUNCES BOARD APPOINTMENT AND RESIGNATION

Altai Resources Inc. has appointed Allister Avard to the company's board of directors, effective immediately, replacing Jeffrey Ackert, who has resigned today as a director of the company. The board thanks Mr. Ackert for his service and contributions to the company, and wishes him continued success in his future endeavours. Mr. Avard has over seven years of capital market experience in financings, due diligence and reverse takeover transactions, most recently at Haywood Securities in Toronto, where he held Canadian securities licensing and the U.S. Series 7 (General Securities Representative) registration.

Mr. Avard passed all three levels of the chartered financial analyst program and holds a bachelor of commerce in finance from Dalhousie University.
