ALTAIR RESOURCES ANNOUNCES MARC MAGLIONE JOINS

ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Vancouver, British Columbia - August 11, 2026: ALTAIR RESOURCES INC. ("ALTAIR" or the Company") (TSX-V: AVX; Germany FRA: 90A; ISIN: CA02137W2004; WKN: WKN A2ALMP) Mr. George S. Young, Chairman & CEO is pleased to provide the following changes to its Board of Directors:

Mr. Marc Maglione has agreed to join the Board of Directors

Marc Maglione, currently Chief Financial Officer for US based Wolverine Fuels, is a senior mining executive with 20 years of international experience across the resources sector. His career spans exploration, mine development and construction, large-scale operating assets, business transformations, and complex acquisitions and divestitures. He has held leadership roles with ASX- and TSX-listed mining companies across Australia, the United States, Canada and Africa.

Mr. Maglione spent approximately a decade with Rio Tinto, where his senior leadership roles included Acting Global Head of Financial Services and Chief Financial Officer of Richards Bay Minerals in South Africa. He subsequently served as Portfolio Chief Financial Officer within Trafigura's mining group. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Wolverine Fuels, a leading U.S. coal producer with more than 1,000 employees.

Mr. Maglione is a former Chairman and current Director of the Utah Mining Association and serves as an Independent Director of several privately held mining and mining-services companies. He brings extensive experience in business leadership, financial markets, corporate strategy, operational improvement, capital allocation, transactions and board governance across the mining lifecycle.

Mr. Maglione holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and a Master of Finance. He also holds postgraduate qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and the Governance Institute of Australia.

Dr. Michael G. Nelson resigns from the Board

Dr. Michael G. Nelson has resigned from the Board of Directors. The Company would like to thank Dr. Nelson for his services and wish him well in his future endeavors and acknowledge his long and distinguished career in the mining industry.

George S. Young said "We are pleased to add the diverse talents, knowledge of the mineral industry and experience of Marc Maglione to our Board. As we develop projects in new commodity sectors, including the potential critical mineral, rare earth element transaction recently announced, Marc's experience and contacts in the industry will be invaluable.
