Mr. Bruce MacLachlan reports
BOLD VENTURES TO DRILL AT TRAXXIN GOLD PROJECT
Bold Ventures Inc. has initiated a follow-up program at the Traxxin gold project, located 130 kilometres west-northwest of Thunder Bay, Ont., in preparation for diamond drilling in the coming weeks. The final results from the spring 2026 diamond drilling program have been received.
The spring 2026 diamond drilling program at the Traxxin Main zone consisted of two holes totalling 483 metres. The results from hole TX-26-02 were previously announced in a Bold news release dated June 25, 2026, including an interval of 100.7 grams per tonne gold over 2.95 metres within a quartz vein on the east side of the zone, hosting numerous specks of visible gold. An additional anomalous gold zone was intersected further downhole, suggesting a parallel gold-bearing shear zone to the east of the Main zone.
Hole TX-26-01 was designed as a stepback hole from 2021 drill hole BV-21-04 (which yielded 3.6 grams per tonne Au over 12.3 metres) and is collared the farthest west of all drilling to date. Anomalous gold values from hole TX-26-01 include 0.63 g/t gold over 1.0 metre and 0.60 g/t gold over 0.48 metre from shear-fracture zones with quartz veining within the host tonalite. Drill hole statistics are presented in Table 1. A summary of the drill program results is presented in Table 2.
A follow-up drilling program is planned to commence in the coming weeks and will target the gold-bearing vein intersected in hole TX-26-02. The gold-bearing vein was first intersected in a 2017 drill hole, BED-17-005, which returned 6.59 g/t gold over 2.7 metres. It was then exposed on surface in Bold's 2021 mechanical stripping program, with channel sampling results including 9.1 g/t gold over 0.9 metre. However, the high-grade potential of the vein was not fully appreciated until the 2026 drill program, which yielded the best visible gold since the original discovery at the Main zone. The drill plan will test both the gold bearing vein and the newly identified shear zone to the east.
The technical information in this news release was reviewed and approved by Coleman Robertson, BSc, PGeo, the company's vice-president of exploration and a qualified person (QP) for the purposes of NI 43-101.
