BURCON RECEIVES THREE PATENT GRANTS FROM THE USPTO
Burcon NutraScience Corp. has received three patents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), two of which are for patent applications covering the production process and consumer applications for Burcon's Peazazz pea protein, and one for a patent application covering the production process of Burcon's soy protein.

U.S. patents 12,102,100 and 12,108,774 cover the unique processes to produce Burcon's high-purity Peazazz pea protein isolate and its use in consumer food and beverage applications. U.S. patent 12,089,614 covers the unique process to produce Burcon's high-purity soy protein isolate. These patent grants add to Burcon's existing patent portfolio of over 100 issued patents in various countries, including 61 issued U.S. patents, and more than 80 additional pending patent applications, 12 of which are U.S. patent applications.
