KWG ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF ANNUAL AND SPECIAL SHAREHOLDERS' MEETING
KWG Resources Inc., which carries on business as The Canadian Chrome Company, has released the results of the annual and special meeting of shareholders held on July 18, 2025. Shareholders holding an aggregate of 1,086,426,953 votes (40.38 per cent of the outstanding votes) were present or represented by proxy at the meeting.
The shareholders voted in favour of all four items tabled at the meeting, namely: (i) the reappointment of McGovern Hurley LLP as auditor of the company, which was approved by 99.06 per cent of the votes cast by shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at the meeting, (ii) the election of the eight nominees listed in the management information circular dated May 20, 2025, as directors of the company for the ensuing year or until their successors are elected or appointed; (iii) the amendment to the company's stock option plan, which was passed by 96.59 per cent of the votes cast by shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at the meeting; and (iv) the change of name of the company to The Canadian Chrome Company, which was approved by 98.75 per cent of the votes cast by shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at the meeting.
