CIELO ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Cielo Waste Solutions Corp. has appointed Ivy Chan as chief financial officer of the company, effective Sept. 1, 2026.

The appointment follows the previously announced departure of Jasdeep K. B. Dhaliwal as chief financial officer, effective Sept. 1, 2026. The company again thanks Ms. Dhaliwal for her contributions and support and wishes her well in her future endeavours.

Ryan C. Jackson, chief executive officer of Cielo, commented: "Ivy brings a rare combination to the role. She is an engineer by training with an MBA and experience on large capital projects, which means she understands both what we are building and how it gets financed. That is exactly the skill set required as we advance our portfolio of clean fuels projects."

Ms. Chan holds a BSc in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the University of Calgary. She brings over 25 years of experience across the upstream, mid-stream and downstream sectors, leading large-scale strategic projects across energy transition, infrastructure and petrochemical sectors. She has facilitated commercial and joint venture arrangements for upstream oil and gas projects, and has experience advancing project development from origination through financial close-structuring commercial agreements, securing capital, and aligning cross-functional teams, institutional investors, government agencies and indigenous partners. Ms. Chan is recognized for translating strategic ambiguity into executable plans and delivering disciplined results across energy transition, CCS (carbon capturing and storage), petrochemicals, pipelines and infrastructure.
