The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation with respect to the arm's-length acquisition of a 100-per-cent interest in certain mineral claims located in the Cochrane district in Northern Ontario (the acquired property) pursuant to an acquisition agreement between Canada Nickel Company Inc. and arm's-length parties (the vendors).
Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, the company satisfied the aggregate purchase price for the acquired property by paying $2,400 in cash and issuing 60,000 common shares of the company to the vendors. The vendors will also retain a 1.5-per-cent net smelter return. The company has the option to buy down half of the royalty for a one-time cash payment of $500,000.
