EDGE COPPER APPOINTS CHRIS BALLARD AS VICE PRESIDENT OF EXPLORATION

Edge Copper Corp. has appointed Chris Ballard as vice-president of exploration, effective Nov. 1, 2026.

Mr. Ballard brings direct experience at the company's 100-per-cent-owned Zonia copper project in Arizona, having managed the current exploration and drilling program in his role as senior project geologist with GeologicAI. His appointment brings valuable project-specific geological knowledge and operational experience into Edge Copper's leadership team as the company continues to advance Zonia and evaluate its significant exploration potential.

Prior to joining GeologicAI, Mr. Ballard was a project geologist with Rio Tinto Exploration. During that time, he served as co-project manager on multiple drilling programs targeting copper porphyry-skarn systems, led exploration targeting and field programs, and developed geological and structural models to support exploration and project evaluation. Mr. Ballard holds a bachelor of science in geology from Utah State University.
