Mr. Alex Walcott reports
AIRCRAFT INCIDENT NEAR PRINCE GEORGE, BRITISH COLUMBIA
Two members of Evergold Corp.'s exploration team were aboard the aircraft involved in an emergency landing on Foothills Boulevard in Prince George, B.C., on the afternoon of Aug. 20, 2026.
Unfortunately, the aircraft struck several vehicles as the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing on a busy public road. Tragically, the company has learned that a person in one of those vehicles has since passed away. On behalf of Evergold and all our associated contractors, the company extends its most sincere condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of the deceased during this difficult time.
The aircraft involved in the accident, operated by Sekani Air Ltd., was transporting the company's personnel south on a scheduled break from work on Evergold's Golden Lion project. The company can confirm that both Golden Lion project crew members aboard the aircraft are safe and uninjured.
In addition to Evergold's personnel, other passengers on board included personnel from several other mineral exploration companies as well as the pilot. They too are safe and uninjured.
The company would like to re-emphasize its strong commitment to the safety of its employees, contractors and the public. It will support its project's crew members and their families as needed following this incident, and the company will provide updates as appropriate while the investigation into this tragic accident progresses.
We seek Safe Harbor.
