The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Fidelity Global Quant Equity ETF will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2026, for trading at the open on Oct. 1, 2026. According to the TSX, there will be 720,000 Series L units of the exchange-traded fund (ETF) issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The units will trade under the symbol FGQE, in Canadian dollars and with Cusip No. 31625J 10 8.
The TSX reports that the ETF is an open-ended unit trust established under the laws of Ontario pursuant to an amended and restated master declaration of trust dated Sept. 2, 2025. According to the TSX, the ETF seeks to achieve long-term capital growth. It invests
primarily in equity securities of companies anywhere in the
world and uses a quantitative multifactor model in the
construction of its equity portfolio. It expects to pay cash distributions on its units on an annual basis.
The ETF's manager is Fidelity Investments Canada ULC, its transfer agent and registrar is State Street Trust Company Canada at its principal office in Toronto, and its fiscal year-end is March 31. As stated in its simplified prospectus dated Sept. 2, 2026, the ETF is issuing 720,000 Series L units at $10 per unit in its initial public offering.
