NEWFOUNDLAND DISCOVERY FINALIZES NAME AND TICKER SYMBOL CHANGE

Newfoundland Discovery Corp. has changed its name to Genesis Goldfields Corp.

Concurrently with the name change, the company's trading symbol on the Canadian Securities Exchange will be changed from NEWD to GGF. The new Cusip number is 37187F103, and the ISIN is CA37187F1036 for the company's common shares. The company's common shares will begin trading under the new ticker symbol on Oct. 6, 2026.
