Mr. Scott Sheldon reports
GO METALS PROVIDES UPDATE ON EXPLORATION PROGRAM AT KM98
Go Metals Corp. is providing an exploration update on its KM98 project in Quebec, where option partner Eureka Metals Corp. is the designated operator responsible for advancing fieldwork.
Program highlights
- Massive oxide mineralization exposed at Roadside:
- Mechanical stripping exposed bedrock over approximately 100 metres in length and an average width of 10 metres, revealing a substantial zone of massive oxide mineralization.
- Target extended west: A further 30-metre western extension was excavated to investigate the surrounding geology and potential continuation of the mineralized zone.
- Thirty-nine channel samples completed: Systematic channel sampling was completed across the exposed oxide-rich zone, including a continuous seven-metre sampling interval.
- Assays pending: Samples are undergoing laboratory analysis, with results expected in approximately eight weeks.
- Maiden Hook drill program advancing: Eureka continues preparations for the first drill program at the Hook target, providing KM98 with two distinct exploration targets advancing in parallel.
"We are pleased with the progress being made at KM98 across two compelling targets," said Scott Sheldon, president and chief executive officer of Go Metals. "At Roadside, Eureka has exposed and systematically channel sampled a substantial area of massive oxide mineralization, while preparations continue for the maiden drill program at Hook. With 39 channel samples on route to the lab and drilling preparations advancing, the program is taking important next steps toward assessing the scale and potential of these targets across the project."
Roadside target exploration
The Roadside target is located in the northwestern portion of KM98 and was selected for follow-up exploration based on previous geological and geophysical work.
Eureka completed mechanical stripping over two days, followed by pressure washing to expose fresh bedrock for geological examination and channel sampling.
The work exposed a broad zone of massive oxide mineralization trending approximately north-northeast. An additional 30-metre extension was excavated to the west to investigate the surrounding geology and potential continuation of the mineralized zone.
Following cleaning and geological examination, Eureka completed systematic channel sampling across the exposed oxide-rich bedrock. A total of 39 samples were collected, including a continuous seven-metre sampling interval.
The samples are undergoing laboratory analysis, with results expected in approximately eight weeks. The results are expected to help define the grade, continuity and distribution of mineralization within the sample area and guide future exploration at Roadside.
KM98 exploration program
The Roadside target represents a separate exploration opportunity from the Hook target, where Eureka is preparing to undertake the maiden drill program at KM98.
The planned drilling is intended to test priority targets identified through previous geological and geophysical work, including magnetic and electromagnetic surveys.
With channel sampling completed at Roadside and preparations for drilling under way at Hook, the current program is advancing the evaluation of multiple exploration targets across KM98.
The company will provide further updates as Roadside assay results become available and Eureka advances preparations for drilling at the Hook target.
Option agreement
The project is subject to an option agreement between Go Metals and Eureka, announced July 16, 2026, pursuant to which Eureka may earn up to an 80-per-cent interest in KM98. If Eureka completes the full earn-in, Go Metals will retain a 20-per-cent participating interest in the project.
