Gatekeeper upsizes Oregon transit project to $2.8M

2026-06-10 20:45 ET - News Release

Mr. Douglas Dyment reports

GATEKEEPER COMMENCES UPSIZED C$2.8M TRANSIT PROJECT IN OREGON

Gatekeeper Systems Inc. has upsized and commenced a previously announced transit video and subscription project with a transit agency in Oregon, and expects to recognize the majority of the project revenue in the fourth fiscal quarter ending Aug. 31, 2026.

The project, initially announced on June 12, 2025, has been upsized to allow for improved system configuration and installation. Original equipment manufacturer factory installation will occur on certain transit buses through Gillig, a leading heavy-duty transit bus manufacturer in the United States. The mobile data collectors for the project will also accommodate up to 16 terabytes of video storage per transit vehicle. The project will equip a full fleet of transit vehicles with a comprehensive suite of video solutions, including subscriptions to the company's artificial-intelligence-assisted video management offering for video analytics and storage.

The upsized project is valued at approximately $1.75-million (U.S.) (was $1.4-million (U.S.)), or approximately $2.44-million (Canadian). The company expects to recognize the majority of this revenue during its fourth fiscal quarter ending Aug. 31, 2026. In addition, the monthly recurring subscriptions related to the project are valued at more than $55,000 (U.S.) (was $50,000 (U.S.)) per year for an initial contract period of five years, or approximately $400,000 (Canadian) in aggregate at current exchange rates.
