HELIX BIOPHARMA CORP. ANNOUNCES BOARD COMPOSITION CHANGES

Helix BioPharma Corp. has made changes to its board of directors, effective immediately.

Janusz Grabski has resigned from Helix's board, with immediate effect. Concurrently, the board has formally appointed Thomas Mehrling, MD, PhD, Helix's chief executive officer, and a director of the company, pursuant to the board nomination right granted to Laevoroc Immunology AG in connection with Helix's 2025 acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Laevoroc Immunology AG and Laevoroc Chemotherapy AG.

Collectively, these changes are intended to ensure that the board continues to meet Helix's evolving governance and capital markets requirements and has the composition and experience needed to support the company's clinical development and broader corporate objectives.

The board would like to thank Mr. Grabski for his service and contributions to Helix and wishes him every success in his future endeavours.
