JERICHO ENERGY VENTURES PROVIDES STATUS UPDATE ON YEAR-END FINANCIAL FILINGS

Further to Jericho Energy Ventures Inc.'s news release dated April 30, 2026, the company's audited annual financial statements for the year ended Dec. 31, 2025, along with the related management's discussion and analysis, and chief executive officer and chief financial officer certifications, which were due to be filed on April 30, 2026, are now expected to be filed on or about May 8, 2026.

The company's management and its auditor are working diligently to complete the audit and finalize all required filings as soon as practicable. The company will provide updates as appropriate.
