CANNARA APPOINTS NICHOLAS FOZARD AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Cannara Biotech Inc. has appointed Nicholas Fozard, CPA, as chief financial officer. Mr. Fozard's appointment as CFO will take effect upon his receipt of the Health Canada security clearance required of all officers and directors of the company.

"His extensive cannabis-sector finance experience, combined with his background in public-company reporting, manufacturing finance, capital markets and transactions, makes him a strong addition to our leadership team. As Cannara continues to scale its operations and pursue growth opportunities in Canada and internationally, his financial leadership will support disciplined execution and long-term value creation. I would also like to thank Nicholas (Niko) Sosiak for his leadership of our finance function throughout the search and for ensuring continuity as he assumes his responsibilities as chief operating officer."

Prior to joining Cannara, Mr. Fozard served as vice-president, finance, at Organigram Global and senior vice-president, finance, at iAnthus, where he was instrumental in scaling the company from its inception into a U.S. multistate cannabis operator. He began his career at PwC.

Mr. Fozard holds a CPA designation, a master of business administration from the Kellogg-Schulich executive MBA Program, a global professional master of laws from the University of Toronto and an honours bachelor of commerce from McMaster University.
