Maxus starts historical drill data compilation program

2025-11-17 18:03 ET - News Release

Mr. Scott Walters reports

MAXUS MINING INITIATES HISTORICAL DESKTOP COMPILATION ON FOUR CRITICAL MINERALS PROJECTS IN BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA

Maxus Mining Inc. has commenced a historical drill hole compilation program across four of its critical minerals properties in British Columbia, Canada.

This strategic initiative is designed to potentially unlock significant untapped value from legacy exploration by integrating decades of drill hole data collar locations, down hole surveys, lithologies and assay results -- into a modern 3-D workspace. Converting fragmented historical data sets into digital workspace for each project will allow Maxus to rapidly identify new targets, refine geological interpretations and accelerate high-value exploration decisions across its portfolio.

The program encompasses nearly 150 historical drill holes, providing an extensive foundation of geological information that is expected to significantly advance subsurface understanding and enhance the discovery potential of each project. This work aligns with Maxus's broader strategy to leverage data-driven exploration techniques, maximize the value of exploration expenditures and fast-track development across its growing pipeline of critical mineral assets.

The resulting 3-D compilation will directly support Maxus's 2025 to 2026 exploration programs, including prioritized drill targeting, geophysical integration and early stage modelling required for future National Instrument 43-101 -- Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects compliant technical reporting. Utilizing existing data sets in this way provides a cost-effective and low-risk pathway to accelerate project advancement and strengthen the company's technical foundation ahead of planned field activities.

"This compilation program is about unlocking value that's already in our hands," said Scott Walters, chief executive officer of Maxus Mining. "By digitizing and integrating these historical drill holes into our 3-D workspaces, we're creating a modern, data-rich foundation that will drive our next phases of exploration and discovery across British Columbia's critical mineral belts."

This initiative forms part of Maxus's commitment to building long-term value by advancing high-potential projects in mining-friendly jurisdictions and supporting the global demand for critical minerals essential to both defence and industrial applications.

About Maxus Mining Inc.

Maxus Mining is a mineral exploration company focused on locating, acquiring, and, if warranted, advancing economic mineral properties in premier jurisdictions. The company is actively progressing its diversified portfolio totaling approximately 15,098 hectares of prospective terrain across British Columbia, Canada.

The portfolio includes 8,920 hectares across three antimony projects, anchored by the Flagship Alturas antimony project, where a recent discovery returned high-grade naturally occurring antimony up to 69.98 per cent Sb paragraph. The Hurley antimony project, located adjacent to Endurance Gold Corp.'s Reliance gold project, where 2024 drilling reported 19.2 per cent Sb and 2.16 ppm (parts per million) Au over 0.5 m, and the Quarry antimony project, which hosts historical polymetallic samples grading 0.89 ppm Au (gold), 3.8 per cent Cu (copper), 0.34 per cent Zn (zinc), 42.5 per cent Pb (lead), 0.65 per cent ppm Ag (silver) and 20 per cent Sb (antimony).

Maxus's portfolio further includes the 3,054-hectare Lotto tungsten project, where a selected 1980 grab sample from a scheelite-bearing quartz vein assayed 10.97 per cent WO3 paragraph, and the 3,123-hectare Penny copper project, which has over 100 years of recorded exploration. Recent work programs at Penny included rock sampling and geological mapping, with 2017 sampling returning copper values of 1,046 ppm Cu (TK17-149c), 1,808 ppm Cu (TK17-28) and 2,388 ppm Cu (TK17-12). The project is strategically located near the historic Sullivan mine at Kimberley, B.C., an area that continues to attract significant exploration activity.

Maxus Mining is committed to advancing its British Columbia projects through targeted exploration programs designed to unlock value across multiple critical mineral systems.
