Mr. Radovan Danilovsky reports
MCLAREN EXPLORATION UPDATE MCCOOL GOLD PROPERTY, TIMMINS, ONTARIO
McLaren Resources Inc. has completed a drone MAG geophysical survey over the McCool property in preparation for the next phase of gold exploration. The McCool property is located 85 kilometres east of Timmins in Northeastern Ontario.
The drone MAG geophysical survey covered a distance of six km across the central and western portion of the property with 101 survey lines spaced 60 metres apart. The survey followed along the Centre Hill fault which trends east-west for a distance of approximately seven km on the McCool property.
Upon completion of interpretation of the MAG program results and related studies, McLaren plans to design the next phase of exploration work.
Previous exploration work carried out on the eastern portion of the McCool property returned positive gold exploration drill results (see Jan. 24, 2023, news release).
Future exploration work is being planned to follow the geological strike to the west of the previous gold exploration drilling that is situated approximately 200 metres south of and sub-parallel to the Centre Hill fault.
The McCool property is adjacent to the Fenn-Gib gold project of Mayfair Gold to the south-west and the Munro-Croesus gold project of ONYX Gold to the west. The Tower project of STLLR Gold is adjacent to the south and south-east of the McCool property. The McCool gold exploration property neighbours several gold projects and gold mines including the Fox gold mine operated by McEwen mining and the Holt mine complex of Agnico Eagle Mines. The McCool property is situated on a geological fault structure associated with the Destor Porcupine fault zone that trends east-west within the Abitibi greenstone belt.
About McLaren Resources Inc.
