MANULIFE CAUTIONS INVESTORS REGARDING OCEHAN LLC OFFER FOR SHARES

Manulife Financial Corp. has been notified of an unsolicited mini-tender offer made by Ocehan LLC to purchase up to 100,000 Manulife common shares, or less than 0.006 per cent of the common shares outstanding, at a price of $47.20 per share.

Manulife shares closed today at $61.63.

Manulife is in no way associated with Ocehan and does not recommend or endorse acceptance of this unsolicited offer.
