NEI Investments launches inaugural ETF Series on the Toronto Stock Exchange

Canada NewsWire

TORONTO, Oct. 22, 2026 /CNW/ -- NEI Investments today launched its new exchange-traded series ("ETF Series") on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), giving financial advisors and investors more choice in how they access NEI's actively managed strategies and new tools to build and diversify portfolios.

NEI Investments

NEI Global Short-Term Bond Fund, NEI Conservative Income ETF Portfolio, NEI Balanced ETF Portfolio, and NEI Growth ETF Portfolio have closed their initial offering of ETF Series units, and they will be listed and begin trading on the TSX today.

  • NEI Global Short-Term Bond Fund (TSX: NESB), also available in A, F, I, M and O Series
  • NEI Conservative Income ETF Portfolio (TSX: NECP), also available in A and F Series
  • NEI Balanced ETF Portfolio (TSX: NEBP), also available in A and F Series
  • NEI Growth ETF Portfolio (TSX: NEGP), also available in A and F Series

The launch reflects NEI's ongoing commitment to expanding how clients access its investment strategies. Each strategy is available as an ETF Series and as a mutual fund series, so advisors and investors can choose the format that best fits their needs.

"These investment strategies are new to the market, but the discipline behind them is not," said Tim Prescott, Senior Vice President and Head of Asset Management at NEI Investments. "Each strategy draws on the same active management approach, research and portfolio construction that advisors and investors have relied on from us for years. Offering that expertise in an ETF format simply gives clients another trusted way to put it to work as they build diversified portfolios and pursue their financial goals."

This launch builds on recent momentum. Earlier this month, NEI introduced the mutual fund series of the NEI ETF Portfolios in collaboration with Vanguard and the Amundi sub-advised NEI Global Short-Term Bond Fund. Together, the launch of the ETF Series and the mutual fund series expand the ways advisors and their clients can access NEI's actively managed strategies, both in traditional mutual fund format and as units that trade on an exchange like a stock.

The new ETF Series provide real-time trading with competitive pricing across a range of objectives. Each is built to fit smoothly into advisors' existing model-portfolio workflows and is actively managed by NEI's in-house experts and experienced sub-advisors, drawing on decades of expertise to manage risk-adjusted returns with a long-term focus as market conditions change.

"These ETFs explicitly address the needs that advisors and investors are prioritizing in today's fluid and rapidly evolving market environment," said Allen Kwan, Vice President and Head of Product at NEI Investments. "They provide investors with the flexibility to customize portfolios and seamlessly integrate NEI's actively managed strategies through the efficiency of an ETF structure, all backed by the skill and asset allocation discipline of NEI's Investment Team."
