The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that PIMCO Managed Balanced Portfolio will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Jan. 23, 2026, for trading at the open on Jan. 26, 2026. According to the TSX, there will be 50,000 ETF (exchange-traded fund) series units issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The units will trade under the symbol PBAL, in Canadian dollars and with Cusip No. 72204H 10 5.
The TSX reports that the ETF seeks to achieve maximum total
return, consistent with preservation of capital and prudent
investment management. It invests primarily in securities
of other mutual funds and ETFs (called the underlying funds),
including those managed by PIMCO Canada Corp., which provide
exposure to a diversified portfolio of global equity and fixed
income securities. According to the TSX, the ETF distributions quarterly any net income and annually any net realized capital gains.
The ETF's manager and trustee is PIMCO Canada, its transfer agent and registrar is State Street Trust Company Canada at its principal office in Toronto, and its fiscal year-end is Dec. 31. As stated in its simplified prospectus dated Jan. 9, 2026, the ETF is issuing 50,000 units at $20 per unit in its initial public offering. It expects to close the offering on Jan. 22, 2026. The designated market-maker is TD Securities Inc.
