MONTREAL and NEW YORK, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Power Sustainable announced today that its portfolio company, Envocore LLC (Envocore), a leading provider of energy-efficiency, water-infrastructure and utility-services solutions, has been awarded a major role in the island-wide water-meter modernization program of the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA).
Under a five-year, $129 million contract, Envocore will support the replacement of approximately 1.5 million ultrasonic water meters and the deployment of advanced metering infrastructure endpoints across Puerto Rico's 78 municipalities.
The program is expected to provide PRASA with more timely and accurate information regarding water consumption across its system. Enhanced meter data can support earlier leak detection, reduce avoidable water loss, improve billing accuracy and more effective water-resource management. Envocore will provide the field deployment and program-management capabilities required to support implementation across Puerto Rico.
