Mr. Tim Henneberry reports
RIVER ROAD COMMENCES LIDAR SURVEY AT STOBART
River Road Resources Ltd. has commenced a helicopter lidar survey at its road-accessible, 725.75-hectare precious metal Stobart property, located 95 kilometres southwest of Williams Lake, B.C.
The lidar survey will be undertaken by Pioneer Exploration Consultants Ltd. of Ottawa, Ont.
The survey will cover approximately 7.17 square kilometres of airborne lidar and optional orthophoto data to be collected at a raw point density of approximately 50 points per square metre and 10-centimetre GSD imagery. The R44 will utilize a nose-mounted sensor system, which provides high-resolution and accurate results. The flight is set to prioritize lidar data capture, with a model accuracy of 15 centimetres.
"The lidar survey, while providing a detailed topographic map of the claim group for future trenching and drilling, should also highlight any areas of disturbance which may be indicative of currently unknown or undetected workings, pits or outcrops of potential quartz veining," commented River Road chief executive officer R. Tim Henneberry. "Along with the upcoming drone magnetics survey, we will have a complete geophysical database providing a good picture of the geology of the Stobart property," he continued.
The Stobart property is an epithermal gold project in the Cretaceous Spences Bridge group. Dundee Group recently signed an agreement to earn an up-to-60-per-cent interest in Westhaven Gold Corp.'s four (SBG) properties though $85-million in exploration expenditures, highlighting the potential of the SBG gold belt. Historic Stobart grab sampling returned multiple one-gram-per-tonne-gold values to a maximum of five g/t. River Road's 2025 exploration confirmed the earlier rock sampling while soil geochemistry appears to trace the veins along strike.
River Road is earning a 100-per-cent interest subject to a 2-per-cent net smelter return royalty in the Stobart property by making payments of $15,000 (paid), issuing 2.3 million shares (800,000 issued) and completing $300,000 in exploration expenditures ($133,430 completed) prior to July 7, 2027.
River Road cautions investors grab samples are select samples and are not necessarily indicative of similar mineralization on the property.
