SIENNA COMPLETES ACQUISITION IN GREATER TORONTO AREA

Sienna Senior Living Inc. has completed its previously disclosed acquisition of the Bartlett, a 129-suite independent living retirement residence in Oshawa, Ont., located within the Greater Toronto Area.

The property was acquired for a gross purchase price of $59.4-million, or approximately $461,000 per suite, with an initial investment yield of approximately 5.75 per cent. Built in 2021, the Bartlett is approximately 96 per cent occupied and features highly attractive amenities, as well as an 8,000-square-foot medical clinic.

The acquisition was financed through available cash on hand.
