TABLAS ANNOUNCES NEW APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Tablas Ventures Corp. has appointed Evan Young to the board of directors of the company. Mr. Young holds degrees in mining engineering and finance and brings a broad skill set shaped by leading growth, strategy and financing initiatives at exploration and mining companies. The company has granted 180,000 incentive stock options to Mr. Young. The options have an exercise price of 14.5 cents per share and expire on Feb. 6, 2036.

The company is also pleased to announce that it has entered into a consulting agreement with Moranda Metals Ltd., an arm's-length party, pursuant to which Moranda will assist the company in identifying, assessing and negotiating potential acquisition opportunities, with a focus on the resource sector. The company has agreed to pay a finder's fee to Moranda, in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange, in the event that the company completes an acquisition transaction through the efforts of Moranda.
