The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Sept. 9, edition that TD Cowen analyst Wayne Lam rates Vancouver-based Thesis Gold and Silver "buy" in new coverage. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Lam set a share target of $5. Analysts on average target the shares at $6.50. Mr. Lam says in a note: "We view Lawyers-Ranch as a large-scale Canadian project strategically located in the Toodoggone region in B.C. We anticipate increased traction as the project advances through permitting to construction in 2029 with exploration driving continued resource additions and valuation support given M&A focus on Tier I jurisdictions. Given our continued view of asset scarcity for high-quality Canadian assets with scale, we anticipate increasing investor support for Thesis Gold as the project advances toward a construction decision." The Globe reported on Nov. 4 that National Bank Financial analyst Alex Terentiew had reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Thesis Gold, which was then trading at $1.53. The Globe's Andrew Willis reported on Jan. 28 that Thesis Gold was a potential takeover target. The shares could then be had for $3.16.
