Corton Theta Alpha to trade on TSX

The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Corton Theta Alpha Fund will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Sept. 8, 2026, for trading at the open on Sept. 9, 2026. According to the TSX, there will be 731,633 Class ETF (exchange-traded fund) units issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The units will trade under the symbol TPUT, in Canadian dollars and with Cusip No. 22079P 10 4.

The TSX reports that the ETF has been established as a mutual fund trust created under the laws of Ontario and is governed by a master declaration of trust, dated as of Jan. 1, 2024, which was amended and restated as of Aug. 28, 2026. The ETF seeks to generate superior investment returns over the long-term through capital appreciation and income. To achieve this objective, the ETF will invest primarily in listed North American securities and related options. The ETF's portfolio will be actively managed utilizing fundamental, technical and quantitative investment strategies. The ETF may take core positions in North American securities and will implement an active written options overlay in related securities.

According to the TSX, the ETF expects to pay cash distributions on its units, if any, on an annual basis. The ETF's manager and trustee is Corton Capital Inc., its transfer agent and registrar is TSX Trust Company at its principal offices in Toronto, and its fiscal year-end is Dec. 31. As stated in its simplified prospectus dated Aug. 28, 2026, the ETF is issuing 731,633 units at $25 per unit in its initial public offering. It expects to close the offering on Sept. 8, 2026. The designated market-maker is National Bank Financial Inc.
