Mr. Brian Penny reports
WALLBRIDGE ANNOUNCES NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS
Wallbridge Mining Company Ltd. will, at its special meeting scheduled on Sept. 29, 2026, seek shareholder approval for a proposed consolidation of its common shares on a basis of one postconsolidation common share for up to 20 preconsolidation common shares. The company currently has 1,830,849,901 common shares issued and outstanding, and, assuming completion of the proposed share consolidation on the basis of one postconsolidation common share for every 20 preconsolidation common shares, the company will have 91,542,495 common shares issued and outstanding. The company also proposes to change its name to Sunday Lake Gold Corp.
The principal reasons for the share consolidation are to increase the company's flexibility and competitiveness in the market and to make the company's securities more attractive to a wider audience of potential investors. The board of directors also believes that a rebranding under a new name highlighting the company's focus on the Sunday Lake deformation zone is in the best interests of the company. The share consolidation and name change remain subject to shareholder approval and all regulatory approvals, as applicable.
The board unanimously recommends that shareholders vote for the proposed share consolidation and name change.
The special meeting will be held by live webcast on Sept. 29, 2026, at the hour of 4 p.m. Eastern Time. The password for the live webcast is wallbridge2026 (case-sensitive).
The meeting materials are available to all shareholders. Electronic versions of the meeting materials are available on the company's website, at the TSX Trust website
