The critical and specialty minerals stocks box score was a middling 89-83-138 on Wednesday as the TSX Venture Exchange fell one point to 1,016. PMET Resources Inc. (PMET), last heard from a week ago when it cheered that it was advancing its "flagship Shaakichiuwaanaan project toward [the] next development tier," added 26 cents to $7.72 on 1.29 million shares today. The company's subsidiary, African Star Minerals Pty. Ltd., held two auctions of Oena diamonds during the current quarter, which ends with May, selling a total of 1,043 carats for $2.08-million (U.S.), an average of just under $2,000 (U.S.) per carat.
