The critical and specialty minerals stocks box score for Thursday was a 81-81-148 draw as the TSX Venture Exchange added nine points to 972. Mark Tommasi's Azincourt Energy Corp. (AAZ) rose one-quarter cent to four cents on 63,000 shares. The company has begun its 2026 exploration program at the 13,000-hectare Harrier uranium project in central Labrador. Work has in fact been under way at Harrier since mid-August, with reconnaissance, prospecting, and geological and structural mapping taking place across priority areas of the greater Harrier property. Mr. Tommasi, chief executive officer, enthused that the late summer program "represents an important step forward for Azincourt," as he and his crew "begin advancing the Snegamook uranium deposit and broader Harrier project in a more systematic way." Azincourt has contracted out the drilling, as well as camp and helicopter services, Mr. Tommasi says, adding that "with the launch of our updated corporate website, we are focused on improving market visibility while executing a field program."
