The critical and specialty minerals box score for Tuesday was a weak 69-95-156 as the TSX Venture Exchange fell fractionally to 846. Mark Ferguson's Arbor Metals Corp. (ABR) was unchanged at 6.5 cents on 152,000 shares. The company has "revised its fall 2026 exploration plans" -- shifted promotional gears, in other words -- looking to redirect its crew to the Ernst rare earth project in Northern Quebec. The crew had been destined for the company's lithium project at Kemlee Lake in Ontario.

The switcheroo "reflects the growing strategic importance of rare earth elements," the company blathers. Arbor "continues to recognize the exploration potential of Kemlee Lake, where previous programs identified priority lithium targets," but the best that its fans can hope for, Arbor waffles, are plans to "evaluate the timing of further work at that property as part of its continuing exploration planning."

Not that Ernst is in for much heavy lifting: The plan focuses on systematic sampling of the property's principal mineralized showings using a combination of man-portable Shaw drilling and surface trenching. (All drills are portable -- the only question is whether you need a helicopter or tracked vehicle to port them about. The Shaw drill can be hauled by hand -- a set of big burly hands, preferably -- but its little two-stroke engine powers the bit to just shallow depths.)
