The critical and specialty minerals stocks box score was a positive 92-66-162 on Wednesday as the TSX Venture Exchange added 20 points to 814. Ucore Rare Metals Inc. (UCU) had a tough day, dropping 36 cents to $2.08 on 2.18 million shares. The company has been touting plans for a rare earth mine in Alaska and a rare earth refinery in Louisiana for years, but there was nothing new on either front this week.
Graham Harris's Surge Battery Metals Inc. (NILI) was unchanged at 58 cents on 297,000 shares.
