New York spot gold added $34.90 Friday, closing at $2,491.20. The TSX Venture Exchange added 8.09 points to 566.41 while the TSX gold index rose 8.65 points to 365.63. Allied Gold Corp. (AAUC) was strong, adding 25 cents to $3.35 on 2.24 million shares. So was K92 Mining Inc. (KNT), which rose 46 cents to $7.84 on 1.4 million shares. Lundin Mining Corp. (LUN) lost ground today, dropping 20 cents to $12.86 on 3.63 million shares.
