New York spot gold edged higher Friday, adding 60 U.S. cents to $3,239.90. The TSX Venture Exchange rose 10.25 points to 656.40 while the TSX gold index fell 3.38 points to 454.06. Lundin Mining Corp. (LUN) managed an 11-cent gain to $11.67 on 7.03 million shares, but Taseko Mines Ltd. (TKO) fell 33 cents to $2.74 on 4.65 million shares.
