West Texas Intermediate crude for April delivery added $1.10 to $68.26 on the New York Merc, while Brent for May added $1.22 to $72.00 (all figures in this para U.S.). Western Canadian Select traded at a discount of $13.70 to WTI, down from a discount of $12.80. Natural gas for April lost 27 cents to $3.97. The TSX energy index added 4.40 points to close at 268.61.

In a response to yesterday's "Build Canada Now" letter from the chief executive officers of TC Energy Corp. (TRP: $70.42), Strathcona Resources Ltd. (SCR: $29.48) and a dozen other energy and pipeline companies, the Alberta government has published its own statement saying it "wholeheartedly" supports the sentiment. "Alberta's energy sector ... has never been more critical to Canadian sovereignty and prosperity," wrote Premier Danielle Smith and Energy Minister Brian Jean. They demanded that the federal government "call an election immediately so the next government can begin to undo the tremendous damage the previous federal government has done." This wish -- at least the first part -- should be granted soon. Reports are swirling that Prime Minister Mark Carney will call a snap election on Sunday to send voters to the polls on April 28.

Alberta has the stupidest politicians playing with the Alberta hillbillies minds.

Alberta has oil. The feds built and own the pipelines and the rail lines are owned by the rail companies, why Alberta not buying swaths of land from BC or other places to stick their own pipeline in?

This stupid snail even sold off the rail cars or stopped payment on them that the previous government bought to move more oil, now she been talking move more oil, at the same time she been licking trumps balls stopping the rest of Canadian industries from. Making money

You dumb fuck Alberta hillbillies listening to this dumbfuck snail
