The critical and specialty minerals box score for Tuesday was a weak 67-95-158 as the TSX Venture Exchange slid seven points to 887. Scott Lendrum's Giga Metals Corp. (GIGA) was unchanged at six cents on 2.1 million shares. On Monday, Giga cheered that it has acquired 100-per-cent ownership of the Turnagain nickel project in northwestern British Columbia.

No, it is simply "the result of Mitsubishi's broader portfolio review and assessment of the North American nickel and electric vehicle markets since investment." In other words: "It's not you, Giga, it's us."
