2025-04-11 10:04 ET - News Release

Mr. Andy Kirk reports

CIBC INNOVATION BANKING LED A SYNDICATION AND ACTED AS LEAD ARRANGER FOR TEAMWORKS

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce's CIBC Innovation Banking has recently acted as the lead arranger and administrative agent on a syndicated credit facility for Teamworks, a software business based in Durham, N.C., that provides a leading operating system for sports organizations. The company will use the financing to support future organic and inorganic strategic growth initiatives.

Teamworks provides the top operations software for teams, including professional organizations, colleges, national governing bodies, and military or tactical teams. The software offers purpose-built solutions for the everyday challenges of athletes and administrators, including development, performance, recruiting, branding, training management, compliance, payments and more.

Existing investors include: Delta-V Capital, Dragoneer Investment Group, General Catalyst Partners and Seaport Capital.

"We are excited to expand our relationship with Teamworks as it continues along its strong growth trajectory," said Andy Kirk, managing director in CIBC Innovation Banking's southeast region.

"This is another great example of how CIBC Innovation Banking can scale with clients over time," said Walt Sparks, executive director, syndications group, CIBC Innovation Banking.
