Mr. Schwartz recommends buying high-quality companies like Netflix, Spotify, Costco, and Dollarama. He believes these businesses will survive the current turmoil due to ongoing consumer demand. However, Chris McHaney from Global X Investments Canada cautions that this market downturn may differ from past sell-offs, and young investors should be ready for a potentially prolonged recovery. He says, "This crash is a little bit different because it's policy-related." He says President Donald Trump could send markets in a different direction with a social media post.
