The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Aug. 13, edition that ATB Capital Markets analyst Chris Murray has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Exchange Income. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Murray boosted his share target by a loonie to $67. Analysts on average target the shares at $64.94. Mr. Murray says in a note: "Exchange Income delivered solid results with strong results from aviation, offsetting normalizing levels of profitability in manufacturing, primarily at Northern Mat, and challenging operating conditions for Quest. Management reaffirmed 2024 guidance for adjusted EBITDA of $600-million to $635-million, indicating that it expects to reach the range's middle to upper end. Exchange Income delivered a solid quarter and is positioned to deliver stronger growth in H2/24 and 2025 on new aviation contracts and normalizing levels of performance in manufacturing. We see good value in shares of Exchange Income and view recent weakness as a buying opportunity with declining rates and potential M&A representing second half catalysts." The Globe reported on Feb. 27 that Mr. Murray rated Exchange Income "outperform." It was then worth $49.19.
