The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Jan. 29, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Cameron Doerksen has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Exchange Income. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Doerksen bumped his share target ahead by $5 to $73. Analysts on average target the shares at $69.80. Mr. Doerksen says in a note: "We continue to see solid growth ahead for Exchange Income in 2025 and 2026 driven by contract wins including (1) ongoing ramp and year-over-year growth from medevac contracts in B.C., Manitoba, and starting in 2025, Newfoundland; (2) contract expansion on the U.K. aerial surveillance contract; (3) leasing growth at Regional One, and (4) growth in the Windows segment supported by recently won new business (growth more skewed to later in 2025 and 2026). Management has guided to 2025 EBITDA of $690-million to $730-million versus our current 2024 forecast of $624-million. On our updated 2025 forecast, Exchange Income shares are trading at just seven times EV/EBITDA but the majority of publicly traded comparable companies to the various Exchange Income segments trade at higher multiples."
