The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Oct. 23, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Rupert Merer, seeing strong validation from key customers, but slower growth in near term, trimmed his share target for Exro Technologies to 50 cents from 60 cents. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at 57 cents. Mr. Merer continues to rate Exro "sector perform." Mr. Merer says, "While Exro is making the necessary moves, it remains risky with its current capital needs." The Globe reported on Aug. 16 that Mr. Merer had lowered his recommendation for Exro Technologies to "sector perform" from "outperform." The shares could then be had for 29 cents. The Globe reported on Sept. 20 that Canaccord Genuity analyst Yuri Lynk had reaffirmed his "hold" recommendation for Exro Technologies. In the item, Mr. Lynk said, "The company's liquidity position remains weak." The shares could then be had for 26 cents.
